How do you take a grid and add curves?
Goal
How do you take desking (typically in straight lines, rows, and grids) and add curves? We took this near-impossible task and developed a solution (from scratch), which led us to what you see here.
Solution
Carrying through the organization's scalloped design, we created a minimal power beam system that held two variations of connection points, allowing both curved and straight space plans. This unique design allowed us to deliver scalloped structures throughout the space while allowing for future changes.
